Lok is a second-year M.A. student in MERM, under the supervision of Dr. Amery Wu. Prior to coming to UBC, he worked as a public elementary school teacher. His current research focuses on the effects on model misfit on the estimated classification consistency and accuracy indices in achievement tests. His interests include quantitative research methods, data visualization, and education. You are welcome to visit his website.
Jerry is a first-year doctoral student in MERM program, under the supervision of Dr. Amery Wu. He completed M.A. in the same program in 2017. He has a great interest in data structure, research methodology and statistical inference.
Ben is a second-year M.Sc. student in the School of Kinesiology under the Supervision of Dr. Eli Puterman. His current research is looking at the effects of psychosocial stress on the physiological responses to exercise. In his free time, you’ll likely find him exploring new R packages, or taking in a baseball game.
